Helpful Guitar Links

There is a lot of information on the internet about learning how to play the guitar.  Below are a list of websites that I have found are the most helpful and contain accurate information. Check these out and try and teach yourself a new skill!

Justin Guitar - I think this is probably the most comprehensive site out there to help guitarist stay motivated and practice. You will find a large collection of video lessons and exercises that you can use between your weekly lessons.

Heartwood Guitar - This is the website of Rob Hampton, a fantastic guitar teacher out in Seattle.  This link will take you to his page of chord charts for hundreds of different songs.  He also has a good blog and posts some great videos of his students.

Nail Guitar - This website will link you to the creators YouTube channel which is full of lessons for learning both new skills and songs.

Ultimate Guitar Tabs - For those of you looking for a large collection of guitar tabs, I would start with this one.  Each tab is rated using a 5-star system.  I recommend only using the tabs that have a 4 or 5-star rating.

Your Guitar Sage - A great website for more advanced players. His approach for beginners is different from mine but he has some great video lessons on YouTube to help you learn specific songs.

Next Level Guitar - Another huge collection of online video lessons.
